Robert Hornsby, age 67 of Laurel, passed away on August 13, 2022.  Robert was born on January 28, 1955, in Connersville the son of the late James Harvey Hornsby, Jr. and Frances Lenore Hokey Hornsby.

Robert owned and operated Head of Times Barber Shop in Beech Grove, Indiana.  He retired in May of 2022.  You could find him relaxing while watching his favorite old TV shows, especially The Andy Griffith Show and watching the Game Show Network and Jeopardy.  He loved the summertime most.  Robert also enjoyed mowing grass, grilling out, and was an avid reader of western novels.

Those surviving that will cherish his love and memories include his sons, Ryan (Amanda) Hornsby and Scott Hornsby; his daughter, Beth (Michael) Huber; and grandchildren, Caden, Cailey, Aya, Jaylen, Jensen, Branson and Sutton.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Edwin Hornsby and a sister, Nilah Sue Hornsby.

Respecting and honoring his wishes, cremation was chosen.
