Robert Broc Thomas passed away unexpectedly on May 27, 2026, in Connersville at the age of 30.  He was born in Rushville, Indiana on January 14, 1996, the son of Elizabeth Ann (Ryckman) Thomas Hankins and the late Robert L. Thomas.

In Gatlinburg, Tennessee on September 21, 2018, he was united in marriage to Sierra Bobbitt.  They shared 7 years of marriage prior to his death and blessed with a daughter, who he thought the world of and was his pride and joy.

Broc worked with several area construction companies, specializing in plumbing and directional drilling.   He enjoyed the  simple things in life and knew how to have fun.  He had a love for the outdoors.  If he wasn't working you could find him hunting for another trophy buck, going fishing, or mushroom hunting with his family.  He had a need for speed and enjoyed riding side by sides or anything that had wheels.  Most importantly he valued the time he spent with his family.

Broc's love and memories will be cherished by mother, Elizabeth, his wife, Sierra; daughter, Tinley Grace; and his son Cayden Thompson.  He will be in the thoughts of his sister, Isabel Dalton; maternal grandparents, Nick and Tracy Ryckman; aunts, Toni Studt and Cass Ryckman; cousins, Joey and Jacob Smart and several other cousins and friends, as well as his stepfather, Jimmy Dalton.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and an aunt, Jenny Fasbinder.

Friends and family may gather at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W 8th Street, on Tuesday evening June 2, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.  Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Rob Edwards at 7:00 pm.
