Roy A. Peters "Tony", 58, of Franklin County passed away on Friday December 20, 2024. He was born in Hammond, Indiana on February 22, 1966, the son of the late Leroy Peters and Linda Adams Anderson.

Tony was an amazing chef, he loved cooking and pleasing people with great food. He worked as a chef at Hearthstone Restaurant in Metamora and Park Restaurant in Rushville and New Castle for over 20 years. When Tony wasn't busy cooking he enjoyed relaxing while casting a fishing line. He was a true gentleman with the biggest heart and he will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his siblings; a sister Terry (John) Bockover, and brother, Tim Peters, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister, Pam Clark, and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Friends and family may gather on Monday December 30, 2024 from 11:00AM until 1:00PM at Urban Winkler Funeral Home located at 513 W 8th Street Connersville IN 47331.  A funeral service will begin at 1:00PM and burial will follow at Stipps Hill Cemetery.
