Russell Williams, age 71, passed away on Thursday May 4, 2023, in Connersville. Russell was born in Lansing, West Virginia on November 24, 1951, the son of the late Clifford and Josephine Dempsey Williams.

He was a truck driver by trade, driving for several different companies. When he wasn't working you could find him relaxing by going fishing or playing X-Box games with his nephew.

Those that he has left behind to cherish his memory and love include his children, Terri (John) Evans, Russell (Nancy Williams-Gayton) Williams, Jr., Billy Williams and Joyce Holcomb. He will be thought of often by his siblings, Ruth Presson, Ronnie (Debbie) Williams, and Joe (Pat) Williams; grandchildren, Krista Evans, Jade Williams, Zachary Williams, Scott Jenkins, Sapphire Jenkins, Noah Jenkins, Sierra Holcomb and Carol Ann Nottingham; four great grandsons; and several nieces and nephews, including Richie Presson.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Dallas Williams and James Lee Williams and two nephews, Keith Lee Presson and Lawrence Mark Presson.

Friends and family may gather on Wednesday May 10, 2023, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W 8 ^th Street, Connersville. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made at the funeral home to benefit the family.
