Saundra K "Sandy" Hudson a lifelong resident of Connersville, passed away at the age of 83, on Friday October 18, 2024. She was born on November 12, 1940, the daughter of the late Xen Dolan and Imagene Bennington Dolan.

Sandy was a 1958 graduate of Connersville High School. She was employed at Cox Market in her younger years. Her most recent employment was at City Hall where she worked for several years doing payroll. Sandy was a board member of the Whitewater Valley Art Association. She had great love for art, she created many beautiful pieces from paintings to stained glass and pottery. Sandy was also a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Connersville.

Sandy was known to be one of the kindest women you could ever meet. She never knew a stranger and could talk to just about anyone for hours. She was an outstanding cook, who loved nothing more than to cook for her large family. Sandy also had a competitive side when it came to playing card games and board games. She enjoyed relaxing while she painted. The most important thing in Sandy's life was her family, she treasured the time she spent with them especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Sandy is survived by her children; Michelle (Dean) Nutty, E. Wayne (Lisa) Hudson Jr., Theresa Hatfield, and David X (Kellie) Hudson. She will be greatly missed by her sister Pam (Gary) Bruns. Sandy's memories will live on forever in her 11 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Sandy is preceded in death by a brother Billy Dolan, and infant brother Xen Michael Dolan.

Friends and Family may gather on Tuesday October 22, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church located at 1211 Grand Ave Connersville, IN. A funeral service conducted by Mal Gibson will begin at 1:00PM.  Memorial Contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Food Pantry.
