Shannon Lee Nunn-Burroughs passed away on Thursday evening, July 2, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 51 after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was born on December 8, 1974, in Rushville, Indiana, the daughter of the late Gerald "Sandy" Lawrence Jr. and Lynda Hibbard Lawrence.

Shannon was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, mother and grandmother that attended Crosspoint Biker Church.  Before her health declined, she was the manager at Jack's Donuts in Connersville and worked at Valeo in Greensburg for several years prior.  She was studying to be a Recovery Coach and was a true advocate for anyone in recovery.

She loved being outdoors in nature whether it was fishing, camping, or going to the ocean to sit on the beach.  Shannon enjoyed music of all kinds and going to concerts.  She never met a stranger and was willing to help in any way she could.  The shining stars in her eyes were her children, grandchildren and family.

Shannon's love and memories will live on in her children, Tessia Rogers, Chesney (Dillan Krueger) Nunn, and Arren (Taylor) Nunn; her grandchildren, Brently, Branson, and Brindle Rogers, Makayleigh, Oaklynn and Gatlin Nunn and Desire Krueger; long time companion, Larry Waters, Sr.; her siblings, Cheyenne (Chris) Urban, Chelan (Jason) Kennedy, Shane (Sommer) Lawrence and Shawn Lawrence:  step-children, Andrea George, Larry Waters. Jr and Ryan Waters, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Tevin Nunn, sister, Stacey Lynn Lawrence, nephew, Craig Waddell, and great nephew, Ayden Cummins.

Friends and family may gather on Tuesday July 7, 2026, at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W 8th Street, Connersville from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.  Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery.
