Sharon K. Blaker passed away on Friday January 31, 2025, at Reid Health.  She was 83 years old.  Sharon was born in Connersville, IN on June 29, 1941, the daughter of the late Alfred Marion and Ruth Carolyn Schertzer Bright.

On June 13, 1997, in Laurel, Indiana, she became the wife of Michael R. Blaker.  They shared 27 years of marriage prior to her death.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother that enjoyed taking care of animals, working in her flower and vegetable gardens, taking care of her fish, and playing Bingo.  She could be found relaxing on her front porch watching the birds and the world go by.  Her most valued treasure is the times she spent with her family.

Her love and memories will be cherished by her husband, Michael; daughters, Kimberly (Bill Gibbs) Riebsomer, Jammie Lynn Hunt, Jammie (Josh) Alcorn and Stacey Blaker; sons, James Todd Adams, James Kelly (Amy) Adams, James Jody (Wendy) Adams and two stepsons; 20 grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren; several great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by two sons, James Marvin Adams and James Jason Adams; brother, Larry Bright; a sister, Carolyn Bennett and a grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at Urban Winkler Funeral Home on Wednesday February 5, 2025, at 1:00 pm.  Friends and family may gather from 11:00 am until the hour of the service.  Sharon will be laid to rest at Lick Creek Cemetery.
