Sharon Lee
Kline
Sep 23, 1947 — Jun 20, 2023
Sharon Lee Kline, 75 of Connersville passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. She was born on September 23, 1947 in Sellersburg, Indiana to the late Roland and Virginia Jasper Huckelberry.
Sharon graduated from Silver Creek High School in 1965. While in high school she was a member of the FHA and was State Leader, traveling to many places. In 1966, Sharon moved to Connersville where she purchased Thompson Brown Funeral Home with her first husband. Together they had two children, Tracey Lee and Chris Edward.
In her early years in Connersville, she had worked at Central State Bank. She also worked for a travel agency where she got to travel and experience places she had never been. Sharon then went to work at the Auditor's office for many years before going to Fayette County Area Planning. She finished her full-time working days as the Parks Department Secretary at the Miller Building so she could become her mother's caregiver at home. After Sharon's son and grandson purchased Urban Winkler Funeral Home in January 2020, she returned to work in the office with them while also taking care of her granddaughters and being their Mammy.
On July 9, 2005, she married Jack Kline in Connersville.
Sharon was a Mom, Wife, Mammy, Sister, Aunt, and a Friend to many. She was an exceptional cook, her family and friends would tell you that they all looked forward to her famous grape jelly and meatballs at Christmas time, meatloaf, and her applesauce. She loved a good Hallmark movie while cuddled up with her favorite blanket. Sharon enjoyed traveling, especially going to see her best friends, Donna and Tom Hall, in South Carolina. She loved listening to country music, especially her man Blake. Her greatest joy was picking up her great granddaughters from school every day where they were always welcomed with their favorite snack. Sharon was always thinking about others before herself. Everywhere she went she made a new friendship. Family was the most important thing in Sharon's life, and she was always their biggest cheerleader throughout life. Sharon was able to touch so many people in her lifetime.

(Cheyenne) Urban, Kevin (Natalie) Scripture, Dena Scripture, Holly (Voyd) Isaacs and Scott Kline; her grandchildren, Chris (Stephanie) Urban II, Dakota (Monica) McMurray, Kelsei (Dakota) Cummins, Christopher Dudas, Eric (Christine) Scripture, Max (Andrew) Scripture, Molly (Declan) Vea and Andy (Colleen) Scripture, Arianna Pike, Chase and Serena Kline and; her great grandchildren, Gracelynn Christine and Callie Lee Urban, Kyndal Lee and Casey Kyler Cummins, Isla Scripture, Collins Vea and Trintee Isaacs; a sister, Suzette (Billy) Durham; her nieces and nephews, Kimberly (Jay) Light, James (Kelly) Baxter, Aletha (John) Thomas, Hoyt (Lana) Baxter, and James (Gloria) Urban; brother in law, Bob (Marsha) Urban; sisters in law, Jill (Don) Hershner and Linda (Bob) Marcum; and many other extended family members and friends.
