Stephen Stephens of Greenfield, IN, passed away on February 24, 2024, while a resident at Majestic Care in Connersville at the age of 72.    Stephen was born on September 28, 1951, in New Castle, IN the son of the late Pastor William Roscoe and Bonnie Burden Stephens.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.  Psalm 23:4 KJV

Stephen served with the United States Navy in the 1970's.  He retired from Connersville Waste Water Treatment Plant as an Operator in 1997 after several years of service.  He was known to be an excellent guitar player Known by many.  Stephen loved reading his bible, watching TBN, and listening to southern rock, blues and gospel music.  The time he treasured the most was the time he spent with his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Stacy Stephens of Connersville, IN, Connie (Ryan) Groff of Greenfield, IN, and Chad (Lorene) Stephens of Rhode Island; a brother, William Stephens of Naples, Florida; sisters, Patty Stephens of New Castle, IN, Connie (Morris) Manlove of Metamora, IN, and Peggy Bolinger; grandchildren, Elijah and Laci Keck, Campbelle and Chad, Jr. Stephens, Noah Stephens, Connor Stephens and Whitney Bunch; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, his is preceded in death by his beloved sister, Nancy Epp.

A graveside service will take place at 2:00PM on Wednesday February 28, 2024, at Springersville Cemetery.
