Sue A. Allard of Connersville passed away on July 13, 2024 at Heritage House at the age of 89.  She was born in Fayette County, Indiana on September 15, 1934, the second child born to John William and Aldeen Ripberger Griffith.

When she was younger, she loved spending her summers driving the tractor for her grandfather, Lawrence Ripberger.  She also loved shopping, playing the piano, playing euchre at the Sr. Center and while in residence at the Heritage House, and spending time with her family.  She played the piano for the Southern Baptist Church of Falmouth for several years.

Sue was a loving wife, mother and grandmother that also had worked at RCA in Indianapolis in the 1950's and for Philco Ford in Connersville.

Her love and memories will forever be cherished by her sons, Rick J. (Peggy) Free and James Dean (Paula) Free; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, four great great-grandchildren and her beloved dog, Tiffy.  She will be in the thoughts of her sister, Gerrie Kennelly as well as her stepchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Donna Jo Santiago and John Larry Griffith:   the father of her children, V. Benny Free; second husband, Walter "Bud" Allard and a beloved dog Mopsey.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
