Tammy Lindzy formerly of Laurel, lost her courageous battle with cancer at her home in Indianapolis on Tuesday May 20, 2025, at the age of 58.  Tammy was born in Connersville on November 26, 1966, the daughter of Garnet "Lou" Alfred and the late Timothy E. Pursifull, Sr.

Tammy had a loving and caring heart.  This was evident through the care she showed her patients as a CNA at Indianapolis area nursing homes and opening her home and heart to the kids that she fostered.  Her love did not end there.  Her caring heart extended to taking care of her animals, birds, and wildlife that would show up at her home.  She enjoyed working in her gardens and traveling.  Most importantly, Tammy adored spending time with her family and friends.

Tammy's love and memories will be cherished by her mother and stepfather, Garnet "Lou" and Jerry Gray; sister, Teresa (Danny Crain) Hunter; bonus sisters, Crystal, Jennifer and Jess; brothers, Tony Pursifull, Tom Pursifull and Teddy (Kristy Turner) Pursifull, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by a brother, Timothy "Tiny" Pursifull, Jr. and an infant sister, Tabitha Pursifull.

Graveside services for Tammy will be held at Laurel North Cemetery, Laurel, IN on Tuesday May 27, 2025, at 1:00 pm.
