Terry Eugene Neukam passed away peacefully at his home on January 3, 2025. He was born on October 4, 1947 in Fayette County, the son of the late Aruthur L Neukam and Mary Mildred Maines Neukam.

After he completed high school, Terry enlisted in the United States Army where he served as a tanker specialist. Upon his completion of service for the United States Army he began working in the shipping and receiving department for Target where he worked for numerous years.  He worked for serveral years at Neukam Construction for his son Chad. Terry also worked at Indalex in Connersville prior to his retirement. Terry was a member of the AMVETS, The American Legion, and VFW.

On May 9, 1995, in the deserts of Nevada, Terry married the former Connie Selfridge. Together the celebrated 15 years of marriage prior to her passing on January 10, 2011.

Terry was an outdoorsman, he especially enjoyed doing yard work and was a big fan of zero turn lawnmower. He also loved to wade in the river and cast a line with his son Chad. He will be deeply missed.

Terry is survived by three sons, Chad Neukam, Kevin (Katie) Neukam, Scott (Tammy) Neukam  eight grandchildren, Chase Neukam, Chloe Neukam, Claire Neukam, Logan Neukam, Lainee Boulware, Mckynlee Neukam, Jeff Smith, Justin Justice. Terry is also survived by four sisters, Linda Hudson, Marie Callahan, Marlene Lloyd, and Mary Burns; a brother, Joseph Neukam, as well several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Geneva Davis, Irene Pennington, Melodee Blakley, and Phyllis Eichacker, and two brothers, David Neukam Sr. and Barney Meredith, also a grandson Trae Neukam.

Friends and family may gather on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at Urban Winkler Funeral Home located at 513 W 8th Street Connersville, IN 47331. A funeral service will begin at 1:00PM, burial will follow at Dale Cemetery.
