Theresa Ann Gabbard Skinner, 64 of Connersville, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026. She was born on April 9, 1962, in Connersville to Estill Gabbard and Delmar Sparks Gabbard.

Theresa enjoyed playing computer games and challenging herself with crossword puzzles. She had a creative side and loved crocheting, often spending hours working on her latest project. Music brought her great joy, and she loved to sing whenever she had the chance.

Above all else, family was at the heart of Theresa's life. She cherished making memories with her loved ones and took great pride in her family. Her love, presence and the special memories she created will continue to live on through those who loved her dearly.

She is survived by her children, Becky Schwartz, Amber Schwartz and Rose Johnson; 3 grandchildren; her siblings, Kay Tincher, Jermiah Gabbard and Nemiah Gabbard; and many nieces and nephews.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents and her sons, Jonathon Schwartz and TJ Schwartz.

Friends and family may visit on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W. 8th St., Connersville. The funeral service will begin at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
