Thomas A Marshall of Connersville passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday July 4, 2026 at the age of 71. He was born in Batesville Indiana, on October 18, 1954, the son of the late Fred V. Marshall and Mazie Jean Fallbush Marshall.

Tom was an active member of Logan Creek Pentecostal Church located in West Harrison, Indiana. He worked in various manufacturing positions including D&M and Camel Hausfeld. He most recently worked for his brother as an established roofer at Marshall's Roofing.

Tom was brilliant when it came to the topic of baseball, he could tell you anything you wanted to know about the subject. He was a very talented lefty who threw fire shots home from left center field. When Tom wasn't working he could often be found casting a line while relaxing on the river. He enjoyed catching up on his favorite show Gunsmoke, or watching his favorite pastime. Tom was a great man, and he will be dearly missed by those who loved and adored him.

He is survived by his significant other, Barbara Bowling, his siblings; sisters, Penny Strunk, Carol Marshall, and brother, Fred Marshall Jr. His memories will live on in his many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Along with his parents, Tom is preceded in death by his brothers; Harvey Marshall, Mike Marshall, Randy Marshall, Daniel Marshall, and his sister, Catherine Pauline Marshall.

Friends and family may visit on Thursday, July 9, 2026 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Urban Winkler Funeral Home located at 513 W 8th Street Connersville, IN 47331. The funeral service will be at Urban Winkler Funeral Home on Friday, July 10, 2026 at 1:00PM. Tom will be laid to rest at Cupps Chapel Cemetery.
