Tonya Lynn Whiteside of Greensburg, IN, passed away in Columbus, IN due to injuries from an auto accident on July 2, 2024, at the age of 51.  Born on December 1, 1972, in Indianapolis, IN she is the daughter of Joe Elliott and the late Vannessa D. Rapp Elliott.

Tonya had worked in area factories.  She currently was employed for over 14 years at Faurecia Emissions Control in Columbus, IN.  When not at work she enjoyed collecting ceramic angels, and taking care of the two wiener dogs, Duke and Rocky.  She loved all types of animals and recently discovered that she enjoyed horseback riding.  The times she enjoyed the most were the times she spent with her family.

Her love and memories will be cherished by her children, Katie Whiteside and Aaron Whiteside: her significant other, Chris Harris; the father of her children, Patrick Whiteside; her best friends, Duke and Rocky and her grand puppy, Lily.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Heather Dawn Whiteside and a sister, Melissa Elliott.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
