Obituary

Tyler Jason Milloy passed away unexpectedly on Friday September 4, 2026, at his home in Connersville at the age of 33.  Tyler was born in Burbank, California on January 22, 1993, the son of Janis Milloy and Richard Lee Sturgeon, Jr.

From the very beginning, Tyler brought his own unmistakable personality into the lives of those around him. Charming, funny, and ridiculous at times, Tyler had a way of making people laugh and making ordinary moments memorable.

Tyler was the kind of person who made friendship look easy. He was someone you could count on, the kind of person who helped others simply because he could, never looking for recognition or expecting anything in return. Whether someone needed a hand, a laugh, a listening ear, or simply someone to show up, Tyler was there.

Tyler was a loving son, brother and uncle who loved talking with people.  He enjoyed kayaking and collecting pennies and coins with his Papaw.  Although Tyler enjoyed many things in his life, nothing meant more to him than being an uncle and spending time with his family and friends.

He loved meeting new people, and conversing with his costumers at Speedway in Connersville made him a bright light to those around him.

His love and memories will be held close to the hearts of his parents, Janis Milloy and Richard L. (Heather Campbell) Sturgeon, Jr; brothers, Logan Milloy, Hunter (Sharon) Sturgeon and Gage Sturgeon; sisters, Mindy (Brenton) Jolliff, Angelica Vail, and Kelsie (Jacob Steele) Jenkins; uncle, Jason (Megan) Milloy, cousins, Hannah and Hayden Milloy, his stepfather, Scott Lemley; a very special little girl, Raylynn; his nieces and nephews, Bentley and Bryleigh Jolliff, Isabella Vail and Colt Sturgeon; maternal grandparents, Bama and Nanny, and David and Carol Milloy, paternal grandfather, Richard L. Sturgeon, Sr.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Joyce Sturgeon.
