Veronica Sue Spurlock formerly of Laurel, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on January 22, 2025, in Rogersville, Alabama at the age of 55.  She was born in Connersville, IN on September 1, 1969, the daughter of Ronald C. and Nancy L. Cowan Spurlock.

She graduated from Laurel High School where she played on the girls' basketball team. She continued her education by attending Indiana State University earning a bachelor's degree in business management.

Veronica worked in customer service at Sony in Alabama.  She enjoyed cooking, caring for her dogs, Daisy and Nolla, or attending the sporting events of her nieces and nephew.  She loved going to Florida and spending time on the beach.

Her love and memories will be cherished by her parents, Ron and Nancy; son Dan Ross; nieces, Baylie, Maggie, and Sophie Spurlock and a nephew, Ronald Spurlock, III.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Ronald C. Spurlock, II; Maternal grandparents, Herman and Lillian Cowan and paternal grandparents, James and Esther Spurlock.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at Urban Winkler Funeral Home on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
