Viola C. Plummer, age 99 years, 10 months, and 28 days, formerly of Connersville, passed away on July 23, 2022, at Shawneespring of Harrison Ohio.  She was born on August 26, 1922, in Connersville, one of three children of the late Vern and Emma Thompson Hall.

Viola was united in marriage on August 6, 1938, to William H. Plummer, Sr.  They were blessed with almost 50 years together before his passing in 1988.

She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church where she was very active.  Viola retired from Ford and its predecessors after 35 years of service.

She loved to volunteer.  Viola drove the Veterans Van, served on the Fayette County Election Board for several years and was proud of her precious gifts of blood donations throughout her life.  She enjoyed reading, water skiing, any form of exercise, sewing and loved to sit in the sunshine.  Above all she loved spending time with her family.

Her love and memories will be cherished by her daughters, Sharon (Don) Noah and Deborah Force; and her sons, William H. (Sue) Plummer, Jr., Michael (Ruthie) Plummer and John (Laura) Plummer.  Also missing Viola will be fifteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren; and several special nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Noah; granddaughters, Lindsay Noah and Jade Craft; brothers, Vern Hall, Jr. and William G. Hall; and her son in law Albert Noah.

Friends and family may gather at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W 8 ^th Street, Connersville, on Thursday July 28, 2022, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.  John Johnson will conduct funeral services at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery.
