Wade Isaacs, age 69, of Connersville, passed away on Thursday August 11, 2022.  Wade was born on September 14, 1952, to the late Elijah A. Isaacs and Flossie Mae McKinney Isaacs Rice.

He had lived in Oxford, Ohio for several years before moving back to Connersville.  Wade had worked most of his life in the roofing and construction industries.  He was a fan of the Cincinnati Reds baseball and found it relaxing to sit on his front porch where he was referred to as "The Mayor of the neighborhood".

He will be thought of often by his brother, Voyd Isaacs, Sr. of Connersville; sisters, Barbara Jean (Herbert) Henderson of Rising Sun, IN, Nina Rogers and Ruby (Jimmy) Griffin of Connersville; two grandchildren; sister-in-law, Wanda Isaacs; brother-in-law, Danny Seibers; several nieces and nephews; and his friend and caregiver, Chris Padgett.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Wade Joseph Isaacs; brothers, Oren D. Isaacs, Sr, Robert Isaacs, Owen Isaacs, and Orbin Isaacs; sister, Malva Seibers; and his stepfather Jerry Rice.

Friends and family may gather on Tuesday August 16, 2022, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W. 8 ^th Street, Connersville.  Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 pm.  Burial will be at Steele Cemetery in Foxtown, Kentucky on Wednesday August 17, 2022, at 12:00 noon.
