Wanda L. McKinney of the Alquina community, passed away with her family by her side on Friday, November 1, 2024, at her home at the age of 74.  Wanda was born on December 18, 1949, in Connersville, IN.  She was the daughter of the late Robert and Emma Lynch McKinney.

Wanda was a loving and devoted Aunt.  She never married and considered her nieces and nephews her children.  She loved to help with their upbringing and loved babysitting for her friends and family's kids.  You could find her relaxing by watching her soap operas and she was an avid fan of wrestling, having seen Dick the Bruiser and many others in person over the years.  Her greatest joy came from the times she spent with her nieces and nephews.

Wanda's love and memories will be cherished by her sister, Wilma Yvonne (Randy) Williams; nephews C.J. (Liz) Siefert and Bobby Siefert; great nieces and nephews, Drake Siefert, Ashton Siefert, Chris Siefert, Cyle Siefert, Crystyn Siefert, and Chyann Young; and great-great nieces and nephew, Gracelynn, Maddie and Cayden.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a nephew, David Siefert, Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W 8th Street, Connersville.  Friends and family may gather from 11:00 am until the hour of the service.  Wanda will be laid to rest at Dale Cemetery.
