Obituary

William "Pooky" Pearson II, 52 of Metamora passed away on August 1, 2025. He was born on September 14, 1972 in Bedford, Indiana to William J. Pearson and Elizabeth A. Pearson.

Pooky was a member of Crosspointe Biker Church in Connersville.

Pooky was a part of the Purposeful Living Unit Service Program where he went around and talked to young people and advocated for them. He spoke to the youth about the importance of staying out of trouble and being there for their parents who are incarcerated. He had a passion for helping children of incarcerated parents to stay on the right path of life.

Pooky worked at Integrity in Connersville as a truck driver.

He had a fire in his soul and a heart that was just as big. Pooky believed speed limits were optional, and life was meant to be thrilling. You could often find Pooky riding his motorcycle named Rosie. In his younger years with his father, they would raise Greyhound dogs and attend the races with them. He enjoyed going to car shows and races. Pooky was a loyal friend, a loving father, son and grandfather and someone you always wanted to be in your corner.

Pooky is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Pearson; his fiancé, Amy Minniti; his children, Candace (Shawn Shepherd), Michael (Payten Gross) Ward, Mursaydeze (Josh) Baker, Blake Clayton, William Alexander Spurlock, Chloe Addison, Jessica Bunch, Sophie Minniti and Vinny Minniti; his grandchildren, Baylee Baker, Hunter Baker, Jameson Murray, Weston Shepherd, Devyn Shepherd, Dustin Shepherd, Emmit Ward, Nova Lee Miller, Hayden Gross, Briar Baker, Bexley Baker, Blakely Rose Ann Clayton and Carter Bunch; his sister, Sandy (Randy) Pearson-Fields; his brother, Thomas (Vanessa) Pearson; special cousin and best friend, David Wayne; his special aunts, Sandy Smith and Bonnie Pearson and his special friends, Jason Wicker, Kevin Bass, Ben Clayton, the Dunaway Brothers, Brucey Boyer,  and LB.
