Yalonda Phillips passed away on October 9, 2023 at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio at the age of 49.  She was born in Hamilton, OH on September 23, 1974, the daughter of the late Jerry Dunaway and Margaret Wagers Dunaway Creech.

She was united in marriage to Thomas Houston Phillips, Jr. on April 2, 1994 in Oxford, OH.  They enjoyed 29 years together prior to her death.  They were blessed with two sons.

Yalonda was an LPN.  She has worked for Oxford Pediatrics, Garden Manor and most recently in home health.  She enjoyed working in her flower garden, taking hikes in state parks, and photography.  The thing she treasured the most was the time she spent with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Noah Houston Lee Phillips and Thomas Isaac Phillips and his companion, Shaylie Bowen; sisters, Hope (Scott) Watkins and Johnna Wagers; and her step father, who raised her, Dave Creech.  She will be thought of often by her nieces and nephews, Amber Barnette, Caleb, Skyler and Dylan Watkins; Austin Napier, and Ethan and Cameron Crabs; great nieces and nephews, Ellie Barnette, Beckett, Amelia, Braden and Zayne Watkins; cousin, Sharla Davidson and her children Shania and Devin Davidson; cousin in law Paidamwoyo Cross; and additional friends and family Stephanie Vanlieu, Wendy Boyer and Kelly Templeton.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at Urban Winkler Liberty Funeral Home on Friday November 3, 2023 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
