Melissa Handley, 55, of Liberty went to be with Jesus on October 26 ^th , 2020 while at her Father-in-Law's residence. She was born on July 19th, 1965 to Donald and Ester (Lackey) Hornsby in Oxford, Ohio.

On October 6 ^th , 1995, she married Stephen Handley; they shared 21 years of marriage and had two children.

She worked as a Homemaker for her loving and caring family

She is survived by a sister, Jennifer Hornsby; a Step-Daughter, Jessica (Andrew) Sheard of LeHigh Acres, Florida; and a son, Maxwell L. Frederick of Liberty, Indiana; and three grandchildren, Symphony, Stephanie, and Corie Sheard, all of LeHigh Acres, Florida.

Melissa was preceded in death by her parents, a son, David Michael Frederick; and two brothers, Anthony Hornsby and Michael Scott Hornsby.

Services will be at the convenience of the family. Urban-Winkler Liberty Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family.
